    Paul is an experienced executive and strategist having worked as a consultant, chief strategy officer, private investor, and CEO. Post MBA, he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, with a strategy and growth focus primarily helping investor organizations, ranging from traditional asset managers to private equity firms to pensions. Paul’s experience at Joshua Green focused on investing in small private companies and overseeing their strategy / corporate development activities. At Russell Investments he went from Chief of Staff to the CEO to head of strategy and corporate development, writing the strategy for the CEO, representing the company in M&A conversations, and leading the transformation office. Paul also oversaw communications and was the CEO’s representative to the internal innovation lab.

    Paul most recently ran Wilkinson Baking Company, a food robotics company that invented the world’s first and only automated bread baking machine, as its CEO. In the two years leading the company, he was able to increase BreadBot placements 12x, and position the company for significant future growth. Paul maintains a relationship with the company as an advisor.

    Paul is also highly committed to higher education primarily through engagement with his alma mater as a Trustee and through the occasional guest lecture role in various classes.

    Paul has a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance from Walla Walla University and a Masters in Business Administration from University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He is a CFA Charterholder. Paul lives in Walla Walla, WA, with his wife and three young boys.

    Deanne Rhynard is a seasoned HR executive and startup advisor. She has an appreciation for understanding the human psyche and how that intersects into the career journey.

    Deanne is the host of the podcast F’ing Up where she delves into the perceived failures of successful individuals, removing the masquerade we often see through social media. Her guests range from senior executives to founders to successful chefs and more.

    Previously, Deanne was Chief People Officer at Performio, a fast growing sales compensation software platform. Previously, Deanne held the role of Chief People Officer at Olo, Inc. Under her leadership, Olo grew its employee base by over 30x, executed a successful IPO and two acquisitions. Prior to COVID, Deanne operationalized a workforce that was 65% remote, creating a unique value proposition in the tech market.

    Prior to Olo, Deanne worked in various people, corporate relations, and management roles at UVA’s Darden School of Business, KKR, Marriott, and other technology startups. Her wide-ranging experience enables her to understand the people needs from many differing facets of life, whether a high-powered money manager or an entry level guest services representative.

    Deanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Walla Walla University. She lives in Walla Walla, WA, with her husband and three young boys.
