After investing, strategy, and operating roles, Paul decided that he could maximize his impact by leveraging all three elements of his background. With the launch of FOG Capital, he realized a long-time dream to own his own business and drive his own success, start to finish. He also realized there was no better person to do it with then with his own wife, Deanne, an incredibly successful executive who will bring deep insights into the people involved in the business FOG Capital engages day in and day out.

The focus on Eastern Washington, Eastern Oregon, and Northern Idaho comes after Paul and Deanne moved to Walla Walla in 2023, almost 20 years after attending University in the valley. After joining a community perfect for raising their young children, they also realized the business opportunity in this area, often ignored by investors and advisors focused on the large metros up and down the West Coast.
